AEGIS — Autonomous Emergency Guidance and Intervention System: A Standalone, Predictive, Safety-Assured Architecture for Aircraft Hazard Convergence Detection and Emergency Stabilization

AEGIS — Autonomous Emergency Guidance and Intervention System A Standalone, Predictive, Safety-Assured Architecture for Aircraft Hazard Convergence Detection and Emergency Stabilization John Swygert November 1, 2026 Abstract This paper proposes AEGIS, an aircraft-resident, communications-independent emergency guidance and intervention architecture designed to detect converging flight hazards before they become unrecoverable. AEGIS integrates validated aircraft-state estimation, environmental and system-health monitoring, predictive trajectory assessment, dynamic safety-envelope margins, crew-centered alerts, and a separately assured stabilization controller. Its novelty is not a claim that artificial intelligence can replace flight crews, but a testable approach to combining multiple evolving hazards, estimating remaining recovery opportunity, and offering timely, bounded assistance. The architecture separates adaptive prediction from deterministic, certified actuation; includes explic...

Gravitational Waves and the Primordial Canvas of Reality: Recovering the Earliest Observable Imprints of Spacetime Formation Through Gravitational-Wave Signatures, Interference, and Persistent Structure

Gravitational Waves and the Primordial Canvas of Reality Recovering the Earliest Observable Imprints of Spacetime Formation Through Gravitational-Wave Signatures, Interference, and Persistent Structure John Swygert October 31, 2026 Abstract Gravitational waves offer a distinctive observational channel into cosmic epochs that are inaccessible to electromagnetic imaging. This paper proposes a testable research program centered on the “primordial canvas” hypothesis: that the earliest observable gravitational-wave backgrounds may encode the dynamics by which spacetime acquired its large-scale structure, and, more speculatively, that oscillatory and relational degrees of freedom played a constitutive role in that emergence. The proposal does not equate detected gravitational waves with the creation of spacetime; in general relativity they are propagating perturbations of an existing metric. Instead, it identifies a disciplined pathway from a conceptual analogy—persistent structure arising f...

Spacetime as a Relational Mirror Network: Recursive Information Snapshots, Boundary Constraints, and Observational Accessibility

Spacetime as a Relational Mirror Network Recursive Information Snapshots, Boundary Constraints, and Observational Accessibility John Swygert October 31, 2026 Abstract This paper develops a speculative model of spacetime as a network of interacting informational snapshots, using “mirrors” as a metaphor for relational boundaries that transform and exchange state information. It extends two companion studies, Infinity as Recursive Reflection and The Geometry of Invisibility, by combining constrained recursive dynamics with observation-dependent accessibility. A node records a local state; directed relations transmit transformations; compatibility constraints determine which histories are admissible; and measurement maps determine which distinctions become observable. The resulting construction allows finite rules to define extensive or indefinitely extendable histories without asserting that physical spacetime is literally composed of reflective surfaces. A worked discrete network illustr...
